We are a growing psychotherapy practice in the Loop looking for a skilled full-time Clinical Supervisor. We are a highly collaborative practice looking for like-minded professionals to join us. An ideal candidate must be friendly, willing to take initiative, and comfortable with autonomy. To ensure all tasks are timely and complete, being detail-oriented and able to efficiently utilize technology are essential.

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and developing the clinical staff of Restorative Counseling. The Clinical Supervisor will provide clinical supervision and consultation to clinicians, support clinicians in following policies and procedures, and promote a positive work culture.

Clinicians vary in their training, expertise, and specialties, but our practice utilizes a strength-based approach to our clinical work. The practice is in-network with Aetna, BCBS and Optum/UBH. Candidates will be credentialed with insurance companies. Candidates already on insurance panels are a plus, but not required.

Required Qualifications

  • Hold a Doctoral or Master's degree (PhD, PsyD, MA, MS, MSW) in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field
  • 2+ years experience working in private practice
  • Developed supervisory skills and previous supervision experience
  • Maintain an active, unrestricted clinical license in the state of Illinois
  • Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (“EHR”) systems; familiarity with Simple Practice is a plus but not required

Primary Duties

  • Supervise clinicians – consult on cases, monitor caseloads, review notes, etc.
  • Understand and follow all policies and procedures of Restorative Counseling as a Supervisor and clinician
  • Assist with interviewing and onboarding of new clinicians
  • Maintain a caseload of at least 25 clients per week
  • Clinical duties may include conducting individual, couples, group and/or family counseling, based on clinical expertise and interest
  • Developing and implementing therapeutic treatment plans
  • Maintaining appropriate records and adhering to ethical practice
  • Attending required monthly staff meeting

Hours

This is a full-time position for 30-40 hours per week. Applicants must be willing to work remotely, as well as in-office during normal business hours Monday through Friday (once we return to the office). Flexible scheduling with the ability to work remotely will be negotiated and agreed upon at the time of hire. Regular and reliable attendance is required.
