    Who we're looking for

    Toyota's Purchasing Indirect Division is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Associate.


    An Associate for Purchasing will support purchasing direct parts and materials buying groups with administrative tasks, supplier follow-up and system processing for service, and import parts (V-V).

    What you'll be doing

    • Execute import (V-V) Operating Procedures (Ops) and assist with Service administration/PO issuance
    • Peoplesoft/SAP/Ariba/WARP processing (including issuing Requests for Quotation / Purchase Orders (PO)
    • Overall administrative duties (travel, catering, expense reports, meeting scheduling)
    • Weekly report management
    • Follow-up with suppliers' sales groups to confirm data, request information, and follow-up on status
    • Develop operating procedures, gain consensus and support training for buying team activity.
    • Kaizen (improve) existing buying team OPs to improve divisional efficiency
    • Contribute input in staff team environment to expand buying team role
    • Resolve day-to-day supplier issues related to ringi, payment, late assignments, etc.
  • Requirements:

    ***THIS IS A 6 MONTH ASSIGNMENT***

    Initial training will be done onsite in the office. Once training is complete, the schedule becomes Hybrid until further notice working every other Tuesday onsite in the office.

    What you bring

    • Entry Level Experience desired (recent grad preferred)
    • High School Diploma (or higher) or equivalent experience working in Automotive Procurement for 1 year
    • Experience with Excel including Macros, Pivot Table and VLookup (Testing required. Must score atleast 80% and test scores must be provided upon interview request)

    Added bonus if you have

    • Automotive Industry Experience
    • Working experience with Microsoft Power BI (including data importation, slicer manipulation, report creation and troubleshooting)
    • Experience with Microsoft Visio, including flow chart creation and modification
    • Experience with gap analysis and problem identification through understanding of large data sets and procedures
