Job Description
Our client is seeking a fulltime Home Health RN in surrounding cities of Essex County. The ideal candidate will provide skilled nursing care demonstrate effective communication and collaboration and maintain patient safety. This role requires strong organizational skills the ability to work independently and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality. The candidate should have experience in home health care. This position will service the following coverage areas; Essex County NJ. Northern Western or Southern parts of Essex County. Key Responsibilities Provide direct or indirect skilled comprehensive nursing care to a specified (or variety) of age and diagnostic groups Utilize principles of the nursing process to assist in data collection planning and evaluation of nursing care Demonstrate nursing knowledge and skills in the implementation of prevention therapeutic and rehabilitative nursing care Utilize effective interviewing techniques; sets limits and collects data based on specific role Communicate and collaborate effectively with health care providers third parties patients and families based on specific role Maintain awareness of comfort and safety needs of patients Observe patients records significant conditions and reactions and notify supervisor or Physician of patients condition and reaction to drugs treatments and significant incidents Respond to lifesaving situations based upon nursing standards policies procedures and protocol Use oral and written communications to convey pertinent information to members of the healthcare team in a timely manner EMR: Home Care Home Base Equipment Provided: Tablet Phone Schedule and Shift Details 8:30a4:30p 12 Saturdays a month Including working one summer and one winter holiday
Requirements
Associate degree or higher
1 years of experience in ANY of the following:
Acute Care
Emergency Department (ED)
Critical Care
Burn Unit/Wound Clinic
Oncology
MedicalSurgical (MedSurg)
Home Health
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of New Jersey (NJ)
Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
Have you ever been previously employed at VNA Health Group (no)
Have you spoken to a Relode recruiter by phone call regarding this role (yes)
