Scientific Lead: Advanced Bioanalytics for Preventive Medicine (m/f/d) 80-100%

For the development of bioanalytical services and methods, we are looking for a scientific leader with a background in biochemistry, molecular biology, bioinformatics or similar who is an experienced lab manager who can independently build his/her own dedicated team. Tasks

• Technical as well as hands-on support in the establishment of a bioanalytical laboratory
• Establishment and management of a team of highly qualified scientists
• Preparation and execution of laboratory projects according to regulatory and quality standards
• Development of robust bioanalytical assays and perform analyses of selected biomarkers using techniques (e.g. UHPLC, ICPMS, LC-MS/MS, Photometry, Spectrometry, etc.) according to regulatory requirements within budget and timeline
• Management of machine learning projects for mass spectrometry-based Omics

Requirements

• Relevant scientific degree within life sciences (PhD with postdoctoral experience)
• Certified lab manager and experience with setting up and applying relevant bioanalytical assays, processing biological samples and using automated molecular diagnostic systems
• Exemplary understanding of data science and computational bioinformatics
• Excellent communication skills, independent working style and entrepreneurial thinking
• Passion for the topics of preventive medicine and longevity
