Job Description
This role is available either from Z rich, Switzerland or remote in EU (you must be eligible to work within the EU).

Tasks
- Maintain and further develop the backend of Locatee Analytics
- Implement data analytics and aggregations
- Effectively deliver stories or tasks within projects on their own and you know when to ask for help
- Develop integrations for different data sources, for example Exchange Web API for the workspace analytics
- Ensure the software we ship runs stable and meets our customer s quality standards
- Employ simple design and pragmatic implementation techniques to drive business value
- Code reviews to verify that the implementation meets specifications and designs using best practices
- Improve the robustness and reliability of the codebase and devote time to polishing products and systems
- Be open and actively seek learning opportunities from senior team members
- Contribute your own ideas in our agile development process
Requirements

- Ability to develop software in Java or other programming languages and you re focused on growing as a software engineer
- Knowledge of relational databases SQL,MySQL/MariaDB
- Experience working with Git
- Strong background in development best-practices like testing, source control and agile planning

Our transparent application process
- Submit your application. Follow the steps to complete the online application.
- Introduction Call. Once your application has passed an internal review, you ll be invited to an introduction call with our People team.
- Technical Interviews: The goal of the first technical interview is to get a first impression of you and your coding and problem solving skills. It is also a chance for you to meet our engineers and your potential work colleagues. Once we ve evaluated your solution, you may be invited to take up the next tech challenge, which consists of an algorithm exercise.
- Meet Locatee. We have a (virtual) coffee break together where we invite the wider Locatee. This is a great and informal way to also meet Locatee employees from other departments.
- Decision. You ll always hear back from us we manually review and respond to every candidate s application. If the hiring committee has agreed to hire you, you ll receive an official offer to join our team.
- Onboarding and mentorship. When joining Locatee, you will get your notebook of choice (MacBook or Thinkpad). In the first weeks you will join all the newjoiner sessions to learn everything you need to start at Locatee. You ll also be paired with a mentor who makes the start at Locatee as nice as possible.
