Job Description

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As our Head of Marketing, you will own and build major parts of our acquisition, retention and monetisation efforts, while leading a team of ~10 highly motivated individuals.

We are a product-led B2B SaaS company. You will be in charge of translating this philosophy into how we build our organisational chart, our marketing strategies, our brand, and the whole customer lifecycle from the first touch to recovery. You have inspirational leadership skills to manage and motivate our marketing team to deliver outstanding results.

You ll work closely with our founders to establish our company as a leading market force, and develop and maintain effective working relationships with all teams in the company, including Account Management, Business Development, Engineering and Product.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Leading our marketing team. You will own all marketing channels and build effective, sustaining growth loops together with your team.
  • Develop and refine our marketing strategies: You have the vision for how Friday Finance does marketing and conceptualise initiatives to get more new customers, increase transaction volumes, and how often people buy from us.
  • Build our category leadership: You understand that you need a story to be successful in B2B. You will ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts.
  • Take big swings: In your role, you have a fine balance between incremental improvements and thinking from first principles that build opportunities to reach new market segments and expand our market share.
  • Work together on revenue growth: You pay particular attention to being aligned closely with Business Development, understanding and sharing their goals, and coordinating sales and marketing efforts to boost brand awareness.
  • Master internal communication and show your work: Your priority is to continuously position marketing as the driver of innovative strategies internally. You are always sharing the bigger picture related to our company goals.
  • Understand the ROI of your work. You are able to report and communicate your marketing activities. You monitor, review, and report on all marketing activities, results, and Return on Investment (ROI).

YOUR PROFILE

  • Skills: Experience with leading the core areas of the marketing department, including growth marketing, product marketing, and content and brand marketing.
  • Experience: 5 years work experience in Marketing for a Fintech or Enterprise SaaS solution. Excellent understanding of B2B marketing techniques, evidenced by a proven track record. Hands-on experience with managing and optimising marketing funnels.
