System Engineer

To support our IT Infrastructure & Security team, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced:

System Engineer

Tasks

• Managing and developing the Windows environment
• Administration of Exchange environment (O365)
• Administration of Microsoft SQL Server
• Engineering and operation of the virtualization environment (vSphere 6.x)
• Network engineering and troubleshooting
• Ensuring trouble-free and permanent operation of the IT infrastructure
• Firewall and security engineering
• Trend scouting (focus on technology and security)
• Second-level support/troubleshooting in case of technical failures
• Communication with external parties (suppliers, customers, etc.)
• Backup project management and other IT service functions

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Information Technology or equivalent education
• Several years of professional experience preferably in a similar position/environment
• Excellent English skills, spoken and written
• High-security awareness
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High quality standards, conceptual understanding, and attention to detail
• Entrepreneurial, innovative thinking and acting
• Team player with experience in working in a small team
• Ability for on-call duty
