Senior Backend Developer (m/f/x)

To bolster our team, we re looking for a (Senior) Backend Technical Lead (m/f/x).

Tasks

• You ll develop state-of-the-art server-side code for our cloud-based applications.
• You ll design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software solutions.
• You ll design, architect and implement highly-scalable and robust applications.
• You'll analyze functional requirements and the creation of software design.
• You'll design, shape and implement API infrastructure solutions together with your team.
• You ll work closely with our engineers to ensure system consistency and improve user experience.

Requirements

WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU A PERFECT MATCH

• You are excited by complex problems, love to code, have a hands-on mentality and are passionate about architecting and/or developing large-scale distributed systems, concurrency, multi-threading or synchronization.
• You have a Bachelor's degree, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related technical field.
• You have exceptional competence in the following programming languages: JavaScript and Typescript.
• Experience with database internals (SQL & NoSQL), database language theories, database design and database programming. Would be great if you bring this additional knowledge/experience:
• You know about web development.
• You have experience with leading a team and mentoring team members.
• You gained some industry experience working with technologies such as virtualization and global infrastructure, load balancing, networking, massive data storages, AWS or Google Cloud, network security and best practices regarding information security.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

• Fluency in English (C1-C2 level.)
