CRM Tech Lead

For our engineering team we are looking for a technical expert in Salesforce Marketing Cloud to work on developing our CRM Tech capability. You will be part of a cross-functional team collaborating with our product managers, data & analytics and engineering teams to define and implement CRM solutions which will enable the development of our core products, services and communications. You will also play a key role in supporting business functions across the organisation such as sales, customer service, operations and marketing.

What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of the CRM Tech infrastructure (Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
  • Conceptualizing & implementing data feeds to enable the integration of our tools with other systems
  • Preparing innovative proofs of concept, support our product team with Marketing Cloud expertise and implementation
  • Coordinating with our data and engineering teams to create technical solutions that will take the customer relationship experience to the next level
  • Enabling a variety of communication channels including email, push notifications, in app messages and SMS
  • Working in a multidisciplinary team in an agile working environment together with offshore and remote teams
  • Continually looking to improve the CRM channel performance and data utilization

Ideally you have :

  • 3+ years of experience in the fields of CRM, Email Marketing, Computer Science, Data Analytics or other relevant experience

  • 2+ years of experience managing and executing projects following an agile approach

  • BSc or MA in Engineering, Computer Science or similar relevant field

  • Demonstrable experience implementing and supporting solutions that leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget)

  • A good understanding of Marketing Processes coupled with Salesforce Sales Cloud & Service Cloud

  • Solid skills in SQL, SSJS and HTML are expected

  • Knowledge of campaign execution using SFMC, working knowledge of Solution designing using REST API, Audience Builder, Contact Builder, Journey Builder, AMP Script, and MobilePush in Salesforce Marketing Cloud

  • Ability to manage people - lead, inspire, coach, mediate conflict, provide assertive feedback, and develop them.

  • Skills to ensure the team s plans are properly executed from start to finish - you can plan and execute timely deliveries, coordinate with other teams, provide consistent reporting to stakeholders and monitor the execution to act whenever needed.

  • Experience with conducting a team in an agile environment - running regular sprint ceremonies, measuring the team s performance, and planning execution cycles.

  • Technical expertise - you can maintain the technical quality of your domain, guide and contribute to major technical decisions, identify technical risk and reduce it, ensure the team is applying good technical standards, contribute to the long-term technical vision of the team and provide high level solutions to problems.

  • Salesforce Certifications are a plus but not necessary

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Excellent fluent communication skills in English
