Job Description

Job Purpose

  • Preparation and implementation of loan policies for Small ticket LAP products.
  • System integration/enhancements for implementation of policies.
  • Training of underwriting units in terms of new policies.
  • Monitoring and management of portfolio through monthly portfolio analysis.
  • To monitor and track the Health of the portfolios of the products launched
  • Competition benchmarking on a regular basis to enhance the product suite.
  • To implement the learning from portfolio management as policy actions.
  • Sound knowledge about loan processing systems and analytical ability.
  • Managing state specific property norms and update the same time to time.
  • Timely revising and updating the credit assessment norms as per the requirements and need of the market.

Key Responsibilities:

Managerial Responsibilities:

  • Drive the Property Product to build the required proportion of business from this product.
  • Monitor product performance variance to KPIs and ensure struggling branches are provided adequate support
  • Liaising with other stakeholders in driving the overall Property Product Strategy (Buildup to execution).

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Implementation and handholding of property products across specified locations.
  • Conducting training sessions about products and strengthening the policy and product information.
  • Routine research & competitive landscape understanding to improvise product propositioning or launch new product/variants.
  • Liaising with product team for enhancement/modification & rollout of new products.
  • Liaising the IT team for system development/enhancement of the products

Skills & Competencies:

  • Should have spent adequate time in retail loan products and in various stages of designing, developing and launching products for small business loans, housing/affordable housing, commercial property purchase, construction & renovation.
  • Ability to understand field/customers' requirements & able to convert that into product propositioning.
  • Ability to Deal with work problems, opportunities, complex situations, flexible with both strategic and tactical areas to achieve the solutions.
  • Good Team Player, analytic skills, Conflict management, peer management skills, strategic work management orientation skills, inter-personal skills.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications PowerPoint, Excel.
