Requirements

• Analysis of and at times, support in developing the Technical Design.
  
• Independent Testing from PoC through to UAT.
  
• Advising the Configuration of Digital Workspace, Collaboration, Unified Communications and Audio-Visual solutions in the end user computing environments.
  
• Working with Business Analysts and Solution Architects to translate End User requirements into Technical Design Specifications.
  

• Responsible for understanding business requirements and delivering specific infrastructure systems, applications and designs for large complex IT solutions that comply with underlying technical operating environments.
  
• Apply skills to develop and deliver technical solutions in your area of expertise.
  
• Maintaining a broad knowledge and integrated view of current practice and developments within own area(s) of systems expertise and related areas of networks and applications.
  
• Adopt and cross skill with other technical verticals as needed to integrate solutions into (eg security, IAM, operational, cloud, networks).
  
• Co-coordinating or leading the design activity (low or high level) working effectively with Solution Architects, Suppliers, Customers and SMEs.
  
• Working with various stake holders Portfolio, Architects, Vendors, IRM, Cyber Defence, Security Team to ensure solution is secure by design and fit for purpose.
  
• Follow Agile methodology for implementation of project.
  
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Platforms and Infrastructure team.
  

• In-depth knowledge of specific area related to role.
  
• Ability to quickly onboard which will require excellent communication skills for a heavily matrixed environment.
  
• Skill and knowledge across the technical, operational and project spheres.
  
• An ability to work independently to make things happen as well as being a keen team member.
  
• An ability to clearly communicate technology concepts and information across different stakeholder groups.
  
• Requires a multifaceted individual who understands technology architecture across a broad spectrum of areas like networks, storage, server and desktop.
