Quality Engineer

WHAT ARE WE HIRING

We are looking for aQuality Engineerto join our Operations Teams. TheQuality Engineerwill be responsible for ensuring that products, services and processes consistently meet established quality requirements.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Responsible for supporting the development of new Hyperion products in accordance with Schr der s standards, internal requirements and applicable regulations, in what regards to robustness of internal and external production processes and quality of the products during the whole life-cycle;
• Provide all quality New Product Design (NPD) deliverables and represent quality during internal and external meetings;
• Lead the planning and execution of products certification process;
• Elaborate the Product Quality Plan;
• Lead supplier new part qualification activities, including development of capability studies, control plans, first article inspections, PFMEAs, PPAP s;
• Review and approve engineering design changes and supplier change requests to determine part re-qualification needs;
• Perform direct and indirect supplier evaluation and support selection activities;
• Follow up supplier nonconformance material to proper disposition and implementation of corrective actions;
• Maintain Supplier vigilance including KPI s to ensure the suitability of materials for compliance with specifications and regulations;
• Create key quality metrics for tracking and trending data related to supplier activities;
• Manage product/services quality complaints, quality incidents and materials returns internally and with suppliers;
• Leads and facilitates failure investigations and develop corrective actions, solutions, and improvements;
• Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate the reliability of manufacturing processes, products and production equipment;
• Monitoring and analysing quality performance of manufacturing facilities.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Engineering Degree in Materials, Mechanical, Electronics, Electromechanics or Quality;
• At least 5 years of relevant experience;
• English level B2 (minimum);
• Flexibility for business travel as required (supplier audits);
• Expert in quality methodologies;
• Knowledge of quality systems: ISO9001;
• ISO 27001 and/or ISO14001 are a plus;
• Knowledge of Health, Safety is a plus.
