- Provide emergency medical assistance, such as CPR or bandaging a wound
- Quickly and efficiently assess a patient’s condition and determine the best course of treatment
- Dressing wounds/injuries
- Transporting patients to hospital and continuing to provide treatment while in transit.
- Administers prescribed first-aid treatment at site of emergency or in specially equipped vehicle according to established medical protocols.
- Teaching and training members of the public to use first aid techniques correctly
- Inspects specially equipped emergency vehicle, cleans equipment to insure its safe operation, and replenishes medical supplies, fuel, and fluids.
