.NET Developer w/ Angular

We re growing our development team and looking for a quality-driven and committed .NET Developer with Angular to join our development team. We love team players that wish to work in an international and multidisciplinary development environment.

We are a group of companies that specializes in areas such as innovation, marketing, technology, and software development. We have offices in Dublin, Lisbon, and Toronto and delivery centers in Argentina, Portugal, and Romania.

This is a hybrid position where you will integrate the development team at one of our international clients. Our client is a leading player in the software and technology consultancy with head office in Ireland.

About the project

Our client is a software development services consultant that provides solutions to complex technical challenges efficiently and reliably where businesses may not ordinarily have the resources to do so themselves.

They have been delivering innovative software solutions to businesses in the UK and Ireland since 2016. Using their extensive experience and expertise, they work closely with their clients to create software systems that can evolve and adapt as customer needs change.

You ll be a key player helping them with design, development, and guiding other team members. You should be passionate about software development craftsmanship and be interested in emerging technology and approaches.

Responsibilities

As part of our client s team, you will build software applications using languages and technologies based on .NET and Angular. Your day-to-day responsibilities and tasks will include:

- Implementing solutions as per technical design and participating in design activities as required;

- Planning and estimation of development tasks as part of the SCRUM team and strive for accuracy while meeting deadlines;

- Participating in the full development lifecycle of new functionality and enhancements on greenfield and existing applications;

- Commitment to producing high quality, highly performant and robust software within agreed time estimates and to agreed quality standards;

- Participating in changes, and continuous improvements to existing software development, testing and deployment processes;

- Ability to work hands on in a fast-paced, agile work environment supporting your colleagues as required;

- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with multiple business and technical teams.

Requirements

- At least five years of .NET backend development experience;

- At least two years Angular frontend development experience;

- Strong practical knowledge of JavaScript, Typescript, HTML & CSS skills;

- Strong practical knowledge of C# (or similar);

- Experience unit testing (Jest, Mocha, NUnit, Moq etc.);

- Experience building RESTful APIs and user interfaces with Angular;

- CSS pre-processing such as SASS, SCSS or LESS;

- Experience working with Git and related contribution workflows (feature branches, pull requests etc.);

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;

- Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate);

- Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework;

- Experience with test-driven development and behavioural driven development;

- Experience with Agile Development;

- Experience with some DevOps practices such as CI/CD, Continuous Testing and Infrastructure as Code;

- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
