The Online Head provides leadership for Invictus s Online/Distance Learning programmes.

The Online Head, works closely with the Heads of Academic, Marketing, Online Sales and the Chief Revenue Officer, to develop Online learning opportunities, increase Online enrolment levels and track Online programme and Online learner success.

Requirements

A broad understanding (objectives of the Online Education Head):

  • Grow & develop a Sales Team, both internal (inbound) & external (outbound), and develop external commercial agreements, in order to achieve revenue and EBITDA targets
  • Work with marketing to expand the reach of online programs and generate increasing enrolment numbers
  • Develop & implement cost effective Online Marketing strategies to optimise cost per lead and increase enrolments
  • Organise initiatives for online programmes and identify trends in online learning
  • Work closely with the Heads/Managers of the various departments, to integrate distance learning options across all programs
  • Assess and analyse current online programmes, and find ways to streamline and optimise processes
  • Work to give students a smooth application & enrolment process
  • Set up a system to collect and measure NPS results, post Sales and post programme completion
  • Explore new technological concepts and techniques that may benefit instruction.

Required Skills:

  • A clear and concise communicator able to work effortlessly with a variety of people from widely differing backgrounds
  • Tech-savvy and familiar with learner management systems
  • An active listener able to turn suggestions into actionable advice and implement changes

Required qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor of Commerce or Business Science, or

Diploma in Sales & Marketing Management, or

Five years experience working in Online Education.

Five years experience in Online Sales

Experience developing and delivering training and support services for online learning

Knowledge of and experience in application of best practices in educational technologies and quality online course delivery

Experience with a Learning Management system (LMS)

Demonstrated knowledge of best practices as related to educational technologies and online education.
