Configuration Manager

Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain design libraries and engineering documentation tools.
• Perform design analysis, trade-off studies, and engineering assessments to provide optimal and cost-effective solutions.
• Design of deliverables (packages, images, config files and deployment files)
• Document a configuration management (CM) concept that spans the complete development
• Identity CM requirements that cover the system, hardware, software and data/info requirements.
• Manage and deliver the CM requirements against the overall CM plan for the program.
• Collaborate with the project design / build team in support of multiple, concurrent configuration baselines in line with the CM Plan
• Develop and maintain the configuration management plan
• Defining, implementing, managing version control and processes for communicating and controlling release plans for fielded and test environments for ensuring all releases and build processes are accurately documented and are reported through the approved tool set.
• Provide technical support and documentation to the engineers and designers.
• Provide guidance to engineers on the Configuration Management Processes.
• Reverse engineer components and firmware from specific products.
