Description:

Workplace Options has an exciting opportunity for a Content Development Manager in our Toronto, Canada office. This would be a hybrid position with a mixture of home and office working days. The Content Development Manager will report to the Vice President of Global Product and Content Development. This is a full-time, salaried position in Workplace Options service center in Toronto, Canada.



Requirements

Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Support WPO s strategic content development and management plans as directed by the Vice President.
Recommend development, content licensing, and translation and localization strategies to the Vice President.
Lead new content development initiatives.
Coordinate and monitor the work of Content Developers to ensure that content development, management, and quality goals are met.
Support Sales and Account Management in responding to clients questions and requests. Estimate costs and time required by clients custom content development requests.
Provide leadership within the company as to how the content management software and content APIs are leveraged Support internal customers such as Product Development, Promotions, Marketing, Training, Implementation, and IT with strategic decision-making and development projects, as well as routine requests, testing and troubleshooting.
Evolve and maintain WPO s Style Guide and create consensus with Editing, Marketing, Communications, and Proposals.
Assist Product Development with new website platform development, testing and de-bugging.
Manage and support a small, global, content development team





Benefits

Requirements:

5 years work experience in multilingual Content Management for website and app publication
5 years work experience managing a team of content developers
Four-year educational degree from an accredited university
Bilingual in English and French with native fluency in speaking and writing both languages
Demonstrable people and project management skills
Previous experience with localization and managing relationships with translation vendors
Excellent English and French grammar, writing, and editing skills
Professional communication skills for occasional presentation, discussion, and collaboration with internal and external customers
Proficiency with

o Modern content management databases and software

o Microsoft Office 365 and Teams

o Jira

o To collaborate with team members and clients across multiple time zones

o Creative problem solving

o Adapt to changing priorities
