About the Role:

SoftLabs is seeking EL1 Senior Application Packaging Engineer for ICT Labour hire at their technology consulting based in Canberra Adelaide Brisbane Melbourne Sydney.





Responsibilities:

  • Automate the installation and configuration of Windows applications (package) configure security patch delivery Windows feature updates drivers language packs and vulnerability fixes for both windows servers and desktop in a format compatible with Intune and SCCM.
  • Design develop coordinate and manage application packaging projects.
  • Package applications and software updates using a scripting language.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis and remediation efforts on major Windows application packaging and deployments.
  • Diagnose Windows application deployment issues and coordinate package improvements/fixes.




Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Automate the installation and configuration of Windows applications (package) configure security patch delivery Windows feature updates drivers language packs and vulnerability fixes for both windows servers and desktop in a format compatible with Intune and SCCM.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the design develop coordinate and manage application packaging projects.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the package applications and software updates using a scripting language.




Desirable Criteria:

  • Enterprise knowledge of Windows Desktop Operating Systems Image Management Application Packaging & Distribution performance monitoring tools in a large distributed environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in Active Directory / Intune/ DHCP / DNS / Group Policy in a distributed environment.
  • Expert knowledge of industry deployment tools such as SCCM or any other enterprise application deployment and automation systems.
  • Experience with enterprisescale zerotouch Windows application deployments.
  • Ability to conduct Root Cause Analysis and remediation efforts on major Windows application packaging and deployments.
  • Diagnose Windows application deployment issues and coordinate package improvements/fixes.
