Retail Supervisor - Monasterevin
Teamworx are delighted to be recruiting for a Retail Supervisor for our client based in Monasterevin, Co Kildare.
Our client is a family run company with over 65 years in business. We are looking for someone with a passion for customer service who will play an integral part in their retail business.This role will assist the site manager with the overall running and development of the site and the Departments. the successful candidate will have the responsibility of ensuring compliance in relation to product offer, customer service, hygiene, and health & safety on site.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous supervisor experience in a retail environment
- constantly seeking to improve processes and become more efficient
- Must have the ability to work in a fast paced and rapidly changing retail environment
- A strong leader with excellent retail management
- A proven track record of managing, motivating and developing a large diverse team.
- The ability to motivate self and colleagues and inspire the highest standards
- Must have superior customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales in our departments.
- Engage positively with staff of all levels and ensure the store has good staff morale.
- Ensure customer service levels are at a high standard at all times.
- Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Monitor staff rotas to ensure the necessary staff are in place to maintain operation standards but also ensure that the cost of labour is in line with requirements.
- Monitor on an ongoing basis staff s attendance, timekeeping, productivity and presentation.
- Communicate the required operating standards to all staff members and ensure they understand and implement such standards at all times.
- Ensure merchandising and presentation of the store is of the highest standard at all times.
