The Operational Readiness Manager is responsible to ensure that IT Operations is ready to support new applications, services, upgrades etc. before a project is transitioned to operations. This provides a consistent and standard framework in creating and implementing readiness plans.
In your role, you will
- Establish and lead the Operational Readiness initiative that ensures that the SIAM organization is ready for the introduction and delivery of new and existing services
- Establish and lead the Operational Readiness initiative that ensures that the SIAM organization is ready for the introduction and integration of new divestitures, acquisitions, projects etc.
- Develop a process to track adoption of standards and processes that were delivered as part of the operational readiness initiative
- Work with the different departments within the organization to complete the operational readiness deliverables
- Work closely with the Project managers, delivery managers, IT managers, service desk and other service representatives to create and implement operational readiness plans
- Ensure that operational readiness activities are aligned with the project/service roadmap and plans.
- Ensure regular generation and release of the operational readiness checklist and tools to track the progress, prepare readiness scorecard.
- Work with the SIAM team, Service desk and other services to leverage the ITSM Portal as the
- Communicate the vision of continuous service improvement (CSI) across the IT organization, Design the CSI register and associated activities, Define and create reports on CSI, critical success factors (CSFs), key performance indicators (KPIs) and SLAs.
- Manage the accessibility and flow of knowledge within the organization and to external parties.
- Work closely with the Compliance team to ensure all documents meets legislative requirements.
Profil
Qualifications - External
As our ideal candidate,
- You have a University Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant technical degrees
- You have 3 years of experience in IT operational readiness framework.
- You have ITIL Foundation Certification
- You have good knowledge of ITSM processes and ServiceNow.
- You have outstanding communication skills Written and Verbal, in English, French would be an asset
- You have expertise on Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
