He/she will support the Regional Advocacy and Campaign Director to represent Save the Children in external decision-making and networking fora across the region. The HPAM will also lead the development of SC specific regional advocacy products, including briefings, talking points and reports on relevant issues, as opportunities are identified.
The HPAM will be responsible for delivering humanitarian advocacy capacity building initiatives to strengthen regional capacity to advocate effectively for children's rights in emergencies.
In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.
