Business Analyst
Description:
In this role, you can expect to support the development, delivery, and implementation of our AuthentiCare product. AuthentiCare is our Electronic Visit Verification solution that helps states reduce costs, minimize fraud, and maximize responsiveness to their Medicaid members, while improving the overall efficiency of their home and community-based services.
Specifically, you will be responsible for
- Understanding the client's business objectives and measures of success,
- Evaluate and analysis risk
- Lead the compilation of business requirements
- Liaison between the client and teams supporting the client's initiatives
- Partner closely with Product, Quality Assurance, Technology, Application Development, and others to support client's initiative.

- Defect tracking and resolution, including statistical output of progress.
- Specific responsibilities may include conducting research, organizing and presenting findings, leading work sessions with clients and project team, and developing documentation using structured methodologies.
- Interacts with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand their problems and needs.
- Facilitating the negotiation of requirements among multiple stakeholders.
- Identifying the current and future state business processes.
- Creating, analyzing, and validating detailed functional specifications.
- Facilitating design sessions with the implementation team.
Basic qualifications for Consideration:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college/university or equivalent experience.
- Capability and willingness to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, shifts in direction and priorities, both from a client and internal perspective.
- Knowledge of Visio, MS Excel, MS Word, Confluence, Sharepoint, and Jira.
- Over 5 years of experience in business analysis supporting large-scale information technology system development, implementation, and operations to include using requirements to drive the design or review of test cases, process change requests, manage project scope, acceptance, installation, and deployment.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities to interact at all levels of the clients from C-level to technical and operation levels.
- Solid ability to understand sophisticated business and technical concepts and make balanced judgments when faced with trade-offs.
- The ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of Medicaid eligibility and enrollment in a public sector or commercial health insurer environment.
- Knowledge of API's, XML, SQL, IVR, Web design, and mobile.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to build consensus.
