Cards & Payments Systems Senior Associate
Baghdad Iraq
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Cards & Payments Systems Senior Associate to join our IT team. This role focuses on supporting banking applications related to cards payments and transaction processing ensuring smooth operation and timely issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and support the operation of cards and payments systems and related banking applications
- Ensure system availability stability and performance 24/7
- Investigate and resolve issues related to failed or pending transactions and transfers
- Perform routine system checks monitoring and maintenance activities
- Handle incidents and service requests from branches and departments within defined SLAs
- Coordinate with development infrastructure cybersecurity teams and external vendors
- Participate in projects related to cards payments and AML systems
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards policies and regulatory requirements
- Document issues and resolutions in ticketing systems (e.g. Jira)
- Support UAT testing for system updates and new services
Qualifications :
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
- 13 years of experience including at least 1 year in a similar role
- Experience with banking systems transactions or payments environments is preferred
- Familiarity with ISO 20022 standards is a plus
