As a SHE Specialist you will be instrumental in enabling safe compliant and environmentally responsible operations ensuring adherence to legislative requirements Weirs SHE standards and ISO certifications while fostering a strong safety culture across site activities.

What youll do

• Champion a strong safety-first culture driving full compliance with the Zero Harm Framework and all safety requirements.
• Ensure adherence to SHE regulations and company procedures meeting all legislative and organisational standards.
• Lead site risk assessments and incident investigations implementing effective corrective actions to minimise hazards and prevent recurrence.
• Integrate SHE principles into continuous improvement initiatives to enhance and sustain safe work practices.
• Actively monitor and improve site safety and environmental performance daily achieving measurable outcomes in compliance incident reduction and safety culture
• Safety First:Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.

What youll bring

• 35 years experience in industrial safety or risk management within mining petrochemical or chemical sectors.
• Relevant bachelors degree in engineering Environmental Health & Safety Occupational Health & Safety or Industrial Hygiene.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian WHS and environmental regulations including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Relevant certifications such as Ahli K3 Umum Ahli K3 Pertambangan POP (Pengawas Operasional Pertama) and SMK3 Auditor.
• Experience in contract roles and a demonstrated ability to drive safety culture transformation initiatives.
• Proven capability in incident investigation root cause analysis and applying continuous improvement frameworks aligned to SHE practices.
