Job Role:
The Lead Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design calculation and regulatory certification of electrical power distribution lighting and low-voltage systems. As the Engineer-in-Charge you ensure that all electrical infrastructure meets safety standards and principal requirements facilitating smooth statutory approvals and high-quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Engineering Leadership: Act as the Penanggung Jawab Electrical ensuring all designs meet PUIL and other relevant Indonesian codes.
Technical Documentation: Prepare and approve load calculations single-line diagrams and specifications for PBG / SLF submission.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Attend meetings with clients consultants and authorities to align electrical designs with architectural and MEP requirements.
Construction Support: Review shop drawings and resolve technical RFIs during the construction phase.
Team Oversight: Supervise junior staff to maintain design consistency and accuracy.
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering with valid STRI and SKA/SKK Level 8 (Ahli Madya).
Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design including responsibility as Engineer-in-Charge on industrial or regulated development projects.
Expertise in power distribution (LV/MV) lighting earthing lightning protection and ELV/security systems with mastery of Indonesian electrical standards (PUIL) for statutory compliance.
Proficient in ETAP or DIALux for electrical system analysis and lighting simulation AutoCAD for 2D layouts and single-line diagrams and basic ETABS/SAP2000 for structural coordination.
Professional English for technical communication detail-oriented technically rigorous with strong coordination and communication skills and able to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
