Job Summary
This position is responsible for overseeing and supervising all daily accounting operations within the hotel. The role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial data the timely preparation of monthly financial reports and compliance with accounting standards tax regulations and internal control procedures. The Chief Accountant assists the Financial Controller in ensuring that financial results are accurate transparent and aligned with the
hotels financial objectives.
Qualifications :
- Diploma or bachelors degree in accounting Finance or related discipline
- Minimum 23 years of experience in accounts receivable or credit control preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Capable of preparing financial forecasts to support management decision-making.
- Proficient in accounting principles and financial reporting
- Able to prepare and analyze complete financial statements such as the Profit and Loss Statement Balance Sheet Cash Flow Statement and Statement of Changes in Equity
- Has a good understanding of hotel internal audit procedures and financial control systems including cash receivables payables and cost management
- Strong proficiency in English communication (reading writing and speaking)
- Good computer skills (especially Excel and power point) and accounting systems.
