Job Summary
Data Entry & Record Keeping: Accurately enter daily financial transactions invoices payments and receipts into the accounting software.
* Accounts Payable (AP): Process vendor invoices match purchase orders verify approvals and prepare disbursement runs.
Accounts Receivable (AR): Generate and issue customer invoices monitor incoming payments and follow up gently on overdue accounts.
Bank Reconciliation: Match bank statement transactions against internal ledgers to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
* Expense Management: Review verify and process employee expense reports and credit card statements.
* Administrative Support: Maintain neat digital and physical financial filing systems account inbox and supplier queries.
JOB REQUREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Degree: Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or a closely related field.
Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in an office setting handling administrative or basic accounting tasks (internship experience counts!) recent experience on Australia bussiness or fnb bussiness would be high recommended
* Spreadsheet Proficiency: Solid intermediate skills proficiency on accounting software would be advantageous
Data Entry: Fast and highly accurate 10-key data entry skills.
Attention to Detail: An eagle eye for numbers catching a misplaced decimal point or mismatched invoice amount before it causes a problem.
