Job Summary
Job Purpose and Impact
Warehouse Specialist is a key role for Agriculture & Trading India and responsible for warehouse systems procedures and service ensuring business objectives are delivered efficiently. The role requires data management reporting & analysis execution vendor relationship market intelligence deliver SLA in Warehouse service.
Key Accountabilities
- Comply with all requirements as per applicable corporate policy and local statutory & regulatory requirements
- Work closely with commercial team understanding warehouse requirements as per business plan
- Conduct external and internal research & analyze warehouse costs from market insights / conditions
- Plan Fulfill and Manage warehouse services ensuring compliance to SLA with Customer & service providers
- Ensure Warehousing needs are Offered / Contracted within agreed TAT and lowest cost
- Maintain comprehensive database of warehouse services and keep track of availability & cost
- Develop strong engagement with service providers and ensure cost optimization through market intelligence and negotiation
- Engage with service providers and address areas of concerns raised by Zonal team & ensure smooth Operation
- Ensure all relevant documents are shared with respective team on time to process further and enable service / Compliance
- Independently resolve day-to-day Operational challenges and escalate high impact issues timely
Qualifications
Min Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree with 5 years of Extensive experience in Warehouse fulfillment contracting and management across India. MBA would be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of Agri commodity warehouse standard locations and market.
