Job Summary

Curriculum Specialist - Foundation Learning needed in a School (IGCSE) in Mumbai.
Preference to someone who can join at the earliest.

Looking for a Curriculum Specialist Foundational Learning to help design high-quality learning experiences for children from Junior Kindergarten to Class role is ideal for someone who deeply understands how young children learn and can translate that understanding into engaging age-appropriate curriculum lesson plans assessments and teacher resources.

Essential Qualifications:
Masters degree in Early Childhood Education Child Development Language Education Mathematics Education or a related field.
Teaching experience in JKGClass 1 or equivalent early years settings.
Experience of curriculum development in foundational learning including lesson planning assessment creation and development of teacher resources.
Preference will be given to candidates who have:
- Familiarity with play-based inquiry-based and developmentally appropriate pedagogies.
- Experience working with large-scale curriculum initiatives school systems boards NGOs publishers or education organizations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and develop the scope and sequence of units for the foundational stage.
Apply domain expertise to create lesson sequences learning goals and engaging learning experiences that support childrens development and learning.
Ensure alignment between learning goals instructional approaches and assessments.
Review and enhance lesson plans developed from scope and sequence documents to ensure academic quality and age-appropriateness.
Collaborate with curriculum developers and teacher training teams to ensure coherence and progression across learning materials and grade levels.
Observe/ Teach classroom pilots of curriculum units and use implementation feedback to strengthen curriculum design and effectiveness.
Stay abreast of research and best practices in early childhood and foundational education and integrate relevant insights into curriculum development.
