Job Title: UI Automation
Position: Senior Test Engineer
Experience: 5- 9 Years
Category: Quality Assurance/ Test Engineering
Shift: 1-10PM
Main location: Bangalore/Chennai
Employment Type: Full Time
Education Qualification: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Position Description: We are looking for a skilled UI/API Automation Tester with strong experience in functional testing automation testing and API validation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Selenium or automation tools like TOSCA/UFT along with good knowledge of API testing ETL validation and database testing. The role requires working closely with developers business analysts and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delive

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Developed and maintained robust UI and API automation frameworks using Playwright improving test coverage and reducing manual testing efforts.


Designed executed and optimized automated test scripts for end-to-end functional regression and integration testing.


Collaborated with cross-functional Agile teams actively participating in sprint planning daily stand-ups backlog grooming sprint reviews and retrospectives.


Worked closely with developers product owners and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables.


Analyzed complex application workflows and identified automation opportunities to improve testing efficiency and product quality.


Investigated test failures analyzed root causes and provided effective solutions to ensure application stability.


Applied strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot automation framework issues API failures and application defects.


Communicated testing progress risks and defect status effectively to project stakeholders and team members.


Prepared clear and detailed test documentation defect reports and test execution summaries.


Contributed to continuous improvement initiatives by recommending best practices in automation quality assurance and Agile processes.


Supported release activities by validating critical business workflows and ensuring production readiness.


Fostered collaboration across teams through effective communication knowledge sharing and proactive issue resolution.
