POSITION : Transport Executive

Job Summary:

The Transport Executive is responsible for managing daily transportation operations ensuring efficient scheduling compliance with safety regulations and optimal utilization of vehicles and drivers to support Bangalore Site. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely transport support and maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Planning

• Plan coordinate and oversee daily transport operations.
• Schedule vehicle movements and assign drivers efficiently.
• Monitor delivery timelines to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Optimize routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Fleet Management

• Ensure proper utilization of vehicles.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and coordinate servicing.
• Keep accurate records of vehicle usage mileage and fuel consumption.

Driver Management

• Supervise drivers and transport staff on daily operations.
• Ensure drivers adhere to company policies safety rules and traffic regulations.
• Conduct driver briefings and performance monitoring.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with local transport regulations and company policies.
• Implement safety standards and investigate incidents/accidents.
• Maintain proper documentation (licenses permits insurance etc.).

Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with internal departments (users).
• Coordinate with external vendors contractors and transport partners.
• Address and resolve transport-related issues or delays promptly.

Reporting & Administration

• Prepare daily weekly and monthly transport reports.
• Track KPIs such as delivery performance cost efficiency and utilization rates.
• Maintain transport records and documentation accurately.

Requirements:

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics Supply Chain Transportation or related field.
• 25 years of experience in transport or logistics operations.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Good knowledge of transportation regulations and fleet operations.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel Word).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with transport management systems (TMS).
• Familiarity with route planning tools or GPS tracking systems.
