Job Summary

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the clusters financial closing process by reviewing transactions provisions GL accounts and non-routine events to ensure accuracy completeness and adherence to accounting standards.
  • Oversee product costing inventory valuation and overhead tracking across plants while driving initiatives to minimize variances between standard and actual costs and mitigate inventory-related risks.
  • Partner with plant and cluster leadership to prepare operating budgets and long-range plans embedding efficiency opportunities and aligning budget goals with profitability objectives.
  • Deliver plant-level financial insights through timely MIS and P&L reporting conduct variance analyses and work with stakeholders to align OPEX with budgeted expectations.
  • Coordinate internal statutory and cost audits across plants ensure timely completion SOX compliance and resolution of control gaps while minimizing audit observations.
  • Support manufacturing heads by providing cost transparency long-term profitability trends and strategic recommendations aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Identify and track savings initiativesincluding throughput gains cost leadership lean practices and finance-led projectsto boost operational profitability and support decision-making.
  • Develop finance team capabilities by mentoring team members identifying upskilling needs fostering cross-functional knowledge sharing and supporting career development planning.


Qualifications :

Educational Qualification

Professional certifications such as Cost Accounting (ICWAI) Chartered Accountant (CA) Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certified Management Accountant (CMA) ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) or equivalent is mandatory. Postgraduate in Finance Business Administration (MBA) Accounting or a related field is preferred.

Critical Exposures

  • 5 years of experience in leading Commercial / Controlling / Plant Controlling function with multiple manufacturing units
  • Experience in capital expenditure (CapEx) management including financial analysis project evaluation and ROI assessments for manufacturing investments is desired
  • Experience in managing P&L responsibilities including budgeting forecasting financial reporting and analysis is desired
  • Experience in driving process improvements and implementing best practices in financial operations particularly in production efficiency cost control and waste reduction is desired
