Job Summary
Job Description:
As a System engineer supporting working on analysis of in-service events you will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise and technical support to queries coming in from flights in operation as well as interfacing engineering teams on various aircraft programs.
The various activities to be performed are:-
1. Support the system development specification V&V and in service support activities in the perimeter of the Flight Management systems.
2. Understand analyze the system design respond to system related technical queries (in service occurrences observations etc.) raised by the customers (airlines other system design offices simulator manufacturers etc.) in a timely manner (for e.g. very short lead times for AOG situations)
3. Analysis of the in-service queries to identify potential impact (airworthiness reliability cost etc.) launching the necessary actions to identify the root causes and following up on the corrective actions or product development by the design offices or suppliers.
4. Attend technical meetings with different stakeholders (customer services teams system designers suppliers etc.)
5. Providing Engineering support to other Customer Services departments ensuring transfer of in-service experience and maintenance activities to the management to other divisions of customer Services and Airbus design organization including vendors.
6. Actively work with the system designers the lab testing teams during the V&V campaigns of the system across multiple aircraft programs. Required
Education: ./B.E././M.E. with experience in the aerospace industry.
Required skills and expertise:-
1. Background in development system engineering or V&V of the avionics systems.
2. Knowledge of basic aircraft avionics systems - Meteorological skills (atmosphere ISA etc.) - Strong knowledge of processes standards and system engineering norms
3. Good decision making ability - Strong inter-personal and communication skills 4. Flexibility and adaptability - Ability to work well in a team environment
Experience: 3 - 7 years
