Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Sr. Manager HCC Indialocatedin Mumbai Maharashtra India.

Job Overview

The Sr. Manager HCC India serves as the Healthcare Compliance Officer for India providing endtoend strategic and operational healthcare compliance leadership for DePuy Synthes Orthopedics business. This role partners closely with country leadership Legalbusinessand functional stakeholders and regional and global Compliance teams to ensure ethical business conduct effective risk management and compliance with applicable healthcare laws regulations and company policies.

This role has a significant impact on protecting the organizations reputation while enabling compliant and sustainable business growth in one of DePuy Synthes most dynamic and highly regulated markets.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary Healthcare Compliance Officer for India.

Lead the development and execution of healthcare compliance strategies aligned with global and regional priorities.

Identify assess and manage compliance risks related to commercial promotional professional education and other business and operational activities.

Provide proactive practical guidance to business leaders on healthcare compliance requirements and ethical decisionmaking.

Partner with crossfunctional stakeholders to embed effective compliance controls into business processes and gotomarket models.

Oversee core compliance programs including training monitoring risk assessments and issue management activities across India.

Partner with Legal and other functions to support investigations audits and interactions with regulators or health authorities.

Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends in India toanticipateand address emerging compliance risks.

Prepare and present compliance risk assessments insights and recommendations to country regional and senior leadership.

Foster a strong culture of integrity accountability and speakup across the Indian organization.

Qualifications

Education

Required:Bachelors degree in Law Business Compliance Finance Healthcare Administration ora relatedfield.

Preferred:Advanced degree or professional certification in Compliance Legal Risk or Ethicsrelated disciplines.

Experience and Skills

Required:

810 years of progressive experience in healthcare compliance legal risk management audit or related fields.

Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance laws regulations and industry codes applicable in India.

Demonstrated leadership experience managing complex countrylevel compliance programs.

Proven ability to partner effectively with senior business leaders and crossfunctional stakeholders.

Strong analytical skills sound judgment and effective decisionmaking and problemsolving capabilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence without formal authority.

Preferred:

Experience in medical devices pharmaceuticals or the broader life sciences industry.

Prior experience supporting India compliance programs within a global organization.

Familiarity with compliance monitoring investigations remediation and audits.

Experienceoperatingin highly matrixed multicultural environments.

Strong change management and stakeholderinfluencing capabilities.

Other

Language:Fluency in English;proficiencyin local Indian languages preferred.

Travel:Up to 2030% primarily within India with some regional travel.

Certifications:Compliance legal or ethics certifications preferred but not.
