Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Database Administrator with 6 years of experience managing enterprise database environments across Azure AWS and on-premises infrastructure. The candidate will lead database administration activities architecture planning optimization initiatives and cloud migration projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design implement and manage highly available database environments.
- Lead database migration projects across cloud and on-premises platforms.
- Manage SQL Server performance tuning and capacity planning.
- Configure and maintain HA/DR solutions including Always On Availability Groups.
- Establish database standards governance and security policies.
- Automate routine DBA tasks using PowerShell and automation tools.
- Monitor database environments and proactively resolve issues.
- Support audit compliance and security requirements.
- Mentor junior DBAs and provide technical leadership.
- Collaborate with infrastructure cloud and application teams.
Qualifications :
Required Skills:
- Strong SQL Server Administration experience (2016/2019/2022).
- Hands-on experience with Azure SQL Azure Managed Instance Azure VM.
- Hands-on experience with AWS RDS EC2 CloudWatch and backup services.
- Expertise in HA/DR replication clustering and Always On.
- Database performance tuning and query optimization.
- Cloud migration and hybrid architecture experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- PowerShell T-SQL and automation experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Azure Administrator or Azure Database certifications.
- AWS Database Specialty or equivalent certification.
- Experience with DevOps Infrastructure as Code and monitoring tools.
- Exposure to multi-cloud database strategies.
