The Role

The Core Performance engineering team is lookingfor ajuniorsoftwareengineer to build andmaintainperformance tests and performance test frameworks that underpin our performance work at Anaplan as well as advocate for strong software engineering principles for performant software. Performance is at the heart of everything we do at Anaplan so we need someone who loves performance as well as advocating for the performance of the platform.

Your Qualifications

• Experience: 2-4 years of professional software engineering or equivalent.

• Delivery:A track recordof contributing to complex projects.

• DevOps: Experience creating andmaintainingautomated testing preferably performance testing and the CICD tooling to support it

Techwe use

• Java: We write many of our performance tests in Java that compiles intojMeter

• jMeter: We performance test injMeter

• Jenkins: We write our pipelines for performance testing in Jenkins with deep integration into our Core Server delivery

• Grafana: Observability both of our pipelines and internal performance tests as well as in production for performance of our customers
