Job Description:

Provide 24x7 production database support (rotational shifts and on-call support).

Install configure upgrade and patch Oracle Database environments.

Monitor database performance identify bottlenecks and implement performance tuning.

Perform database backup and recovery using RMAN.

Manage database security user roles and privileges.

Troubleshoot database-related incidents and resolve within SLA.

Support high availability solutions such as Oracle RAC Data Guard and standby databases.

Perform regular health checks and preventive maintenance.

Participate in DR drills and ensure disaster recovery readiness.

Coordinate with application teams infrastructure teams and vendors.

Maintain documentation of configurations SOPs and troubleshooting steps.

Strong experience in Oracle Database Administration (11g/12c/19c or higher).

Hands-on experience with RMAN backup and recovery.

Experience in Oracle RAC and Data Guard environments.

Knowledge of performance tuning (AWR ASH reports SQL tuning).

Experience with database patching and upgrades.

Good understanding of Linux/Unix environments.

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Experience in handling production incidents in a 24x7 support model.
