Position: Site Engineer
Department: Projects / Operations
Reporting To: Site Manager / Project Manager
Role Purpose:
The Site Engineer shall be responsible for supervising and executing slope stabilization and hill slope protection works ensuring quality safety and timely completion of project activities at site.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
Monitor and execute slope stabilization works soil nailing rock anchoring gabion structures and retaining works.
Coordinate with contractors supervisors surveyors and project teams for smooth project execution.
Ensure compliance with quality standards safety procedures and project requirements.
Verify measurements quantities and material consumption at site.
Maintain daily progress reports site records and work logs.
Monitor manpower equipment utilization and material availability.
Assist in planning and scheduling site activities.
Conduct site inspections and report technical issues to the Site Manager.
Support preparation of client reports billing measurements and project documentation.
Ensure proper implementation of safety and environmental requirements.
Educational Qualification:
B.E./ in Civil Engineering.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of total professional experience in civil construction projects.
Experience in slope stabilization and hill slope protection works.
Hands-on experience in:
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of construction methodologies and site execution practices.
Basic understanding of quality control and safety requirements.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to prepare site reports and documentation.
Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
