Job Summary
The Senior Digital QA Analyst is responsible for driving quality assurance across modern composable ecommerce storefront platforms. The role ensures high-quality delivery of digital experiences built using React Salesforce PWA Kit Amplience CMS and Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
This position owns test strategy test planning execution and quality governance across multiple releases and features. The role focuses on validating end-to-end ecommerce journeys CMS-driven content experiences and frontend application behavior while aligning with business objectives and customer experience expectations.
The analyst collaborates closely with engineering product and business teams to define quality standards improve testing efficiency and prevent defects early in the lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Execution
- Lead test strategy definition and planning for multi-release programs
- Design review and execute test cases (manual exploratory regression and automation-supported)
- Identify critical test scenarios aligned to ecommerce user journeys
- Ensure traceability between requirements test cases and defects
Quality Engineering & Validation
- Validate React-based UI components and composable storefront architecture
- Test CMS-driven content rendering and content model integrations
- Perform end-to-end validation of ecommerce flows (PDP cart checkout)
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive behavior across devices
- Validate integrations across commerce CMS and backend systems
Defect Management & Continuous Improvement
- Drive defect identification triage and prioritization processes
- Lead root cause analysis and define repeatable defect reproduction steps
- Ensure closure of production defects and validation post-deployment
- Identify gaps in test coverage and implement improvements
- Analyze post-release quality metrics and enhance QA practices
Automation & Tools
- Contribute to automation frameworks and improved test coverage
- Maintain and enhance automated test suites where applicable
- Drive adoption of efficient testing tools and methodologies
Collaboration & Governance
- Participate in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups planning retrospectives)
- Partner with developers during desk checks and sprint validation
- Define quality benchmarks and risk assessment frameworks
- Create and monitor dashboards for release readiness and QA metrics
Leadership & Mentorship
- Provide technical guidance to QA team members
- Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices
- Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams

Additional Requirements
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- 4 6 years in QA or digital testing roles
- Strong experience in ecommerce or web application testing
- Experience in CMS-driven platforms (Amplience preferred)
- Familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud ecosystem
- Exposure to Agile and SDLC methodologies
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
