Job Description
We are looking for a hands-on QA Lead to drive quality engineering across software this role you will lead a team of QA analysts direct daily manual and automated testing execution and ensure software releases meet high standards of usability reliability and performance.
You will combine leadership with hands-on technical executionguiding analysts managing sprint testing deliverables writing/executing test cases and building out automated regression testing.
An ideal candidate should have following basic qualifications:

Propose and contribute to process and project improvements.
Lead and coordinate a team of QA analysts providing clear direction assigning sprint testing tasks and ensuring timely completion of test cycles.
Mentor and guide team members on test design exploratory testing techniques and bug reporting best practices.
Review test plans and test cases created by the team to ensure comprehensive scenario coverage and quality standards.
Serve as the primary point of contact for QA updates escalating blockers risk areas and release readiness to project stakeholders.
Review product requirements user stories and acceptance criteria to design detailed test plans and test scenarios.
Execute functional exploratory and regression testing.
Deep understanding of automated test scripts for web/mobile UI and APIs to reduce manual regression effort over time.
Document log and track software defects in Jira collaborating closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Participate in daily standups sprint planning and backlog refinement meetings.
Basic Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
6 years of experience in software QA with at least 2 years in a Lead or Senior capacity managing testing execution across small teams.
Proven track record of managing task allocation tracking deliverables and driving QA teams to complete testing cycles on time.
Deep understanding of test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium) using Java Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
Deep understanding of test design techniques exploratory testing regression management and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with REST API testing using tools like Postman or automated library integrations (e.g. RestAssured).
Expertise in writing clear test cases bug reports and managing work via Jira and test management tools (e.g. TestRai).
Exceptional organizational analytical and written/verbal communication skills.
AI-Assisted QA: Experience or interest in leveraging AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT Claude AI test generators or GitHub Copilot) to streamline QA workflowssuch as auto-generating test cases writing automation boilerplate code or drafting edge-case scenarios.
