QA Engineer

We leverage AI to deliver smarter high-quality solutions for our clients and are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer passionate about ensuring product quality and reliability.

Role Overview

As a QA Engineer you will work as part of cross-functional teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with developers product managers business analysts and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software across multiple projects and platforms (web and mobile). You will be responsible for test planning execution defect management and quality reporting while proactively identifying risks improving QA processes and supporting successful product releases.

Key Responsibilities

Test Planning & Execution

1. Review business requirements user stories technical requirements and acceptance criteria for clarity and testability.
   

2. Develop risk-based test plans test scenarios checklists and test cases.
   

3. Execute functional regression integration end to end and user acceptance testing.
   

4. Test web applications and Flutter mobile applications across relevant browsers devices and operating systems
   

5. Validate complete user journeys across the mobile application web application backend APIs and 3rd party systems
   

6. Identify missing ambiguous or conflicting requirements before they affect a release.
   

Exploratory Testing

1. Design and conduct time-boxed charter-driven exploratory testing sessions with a clear objective scope and risk focus.
   

2. Investigate beyond scripted test cases to identify unexpected behaviours edge cases inconsistent states and usability problems.
   

3. Prioritize testing based on business impact user impact technical risk and likelihood of failure.
   

4. Explore scenarios involving permissions interrupted workflows poor network conditions duplicate submissions delayed synchronization invalid data and partial failures.
   

5. Record test coverage observations defects open questions and areas not tested during each exploratory session.
   

API Database and Integration Testing

1. Test REST APIs using Postman or equivalent tools.
   

2. Validate request and response payloads authentication authorization status codes error handling and data integrity.
   

3. Use SQL to verify backend data and investigate discrepancies between the user interface APIs database and Salesforce.
   

4. Test Salesforce or similar CRM or 3rd party integrations including data mapping synchronization delays retries duplicate records permissions and failure recovery.
   

5. Help isolate whether a defect originates in the web or mobile client backend API database or external integration.
   

Quality Assurance

1. Validate application functionality performance scalability and security.
   

2. Track defects through resolution verify fixes and support release readiness.
   

3. Monitor quality metrics such as test coverage defect density defect leakage and execution progress.
   

Documentation & Process Improvement

1. Maintain test plans test cases execution reports and defect logs.
   

2. Continuously improve QA processes testing methodologies and best practices.
   

3. Identify opportunities to introduce automation and improve testing efficiency.
   

Collaboration

1. Work closely with developers product managers business analysts and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
   

2. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning backlog refinement stand-ups sprint reviews and retrospectives.
   

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field.
   

2. 34 years of QA experience preferably in enterprise SaaS applications.
   

3. Strong experience in end-to-end manual testing in Web and Mobile (iOS Android).
   

4. Solid understanding of software testing methodologies defect lifecycle and QA best practices.
   

5. Manual Testing (Mandatory): Functional regression integration and UAT testing.
   

6. Strong exploratory testing craft: risk-based charter-driven (clear goal scope and risk focus) investigation across web mobile and integrations not only scripted test-case execution.
   

7. Understanding of HTTP REST APIs JSON authentication authorization and client-server architecture.
   

8. API Testing: Postman or equivalent tools
   

9. Database Testing: SQL and backend data validation
   

10. Defect Tracking: Jira Azure DevOps or similar tools.
    

11. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
    

12. Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
    

Preferred Technical Skills

1. Automation: Selenium Cypress Playwright or similar frameworks.
   

2. Familiarity with browser developer tools application logs API logs and mobile debugging tools.
   

3. Salesforce / ERP (CRM etc.) API integration with Web platform testing experience

Interview Process

1. Screening Round: Once you apply you will get an email and within 4-5 days you will hear from our recruitment team asking you some basic questions.
   

2. First Interview: Post that an interview will be scheduled with a senior leader within the next 3-4 days.
   

3. The entire process from screening round to final decision will be completed within 2 weeks.
