Job Description: Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Infor MM Technical Implementation
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in Infor
Materials Management (Infor MM) and a strong technical implementation background.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring and implementing Infor MM
solutions modifying business rules within the Infor platform integrating external systems
through APIs and providing technical leadership throughout the implementation lifecycle.
This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders technical teams and
implementation partners to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Configure and implement Infor MM modules based on business and technical
requirements.
• Design configure and maintain Infor MM application settings and implementation
parameters.
• Modify and optimize business rules workflows and system configurations within
the Infor environment.
• Design develop test and troubleshoot API integrations between Infor MM and
external applications.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business
requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform technical analysis solution design and implementation planning.
• Support data migration system testing user acceptance testing (UAT) and
production deployments.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to application configuration
integrations and system performance.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation configuration guides integration
specifications and support documentation.
• Provide technical guidance mentoring and knowledge transfer to implementation
and support teams.
• Ensure solutions follow organizational standards security policies and best
practices.
• Support post-implementation activities enhancements and continuous
improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science Information Technology Engineering or a
related field.
• 5 years of experience implementing and supporting Infor MM (Materials
Management).
• Strong technical knowledge of Infor MM architecture and configuration.
• Hands-on experience configuring Infor MM modules and modifying business rules.
• Experience designing consuming and troubleshooting REST and SOAP APIs.
• Knowledge of integration technologies middleware and web services.
• Strong understanding of ERP implementation methodologies.
• Experience with SQL and database concepts.
• Excellent analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Infor CloudSuite or Lawson applications.
• Familiarity with HL7 healthcare integrations or other enterprise integration
standards.
• Experience with Infor OS ION or related integration platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud-based implementations and integration architecture.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments.
