Job Summary

Design develop and maintain high-performance scalable and secure backend services using modern programming languages and frameworks.
Collaborate with product managers frontend developers and DevOps engineers to define prioritize and deliver features in an agile environment.
Write clean well-documented and maintainable code following best practices and industry standards.
Optimize application performance database queries and system architecture for speed scalability and reliability.
Implement and manage RESTful APIs and microservices ensuring seamless integration across systems.
Participate in code reviews technical design discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor system health troubleshoot production issues and lead root cause analysis and resolution.
Contribute to the adoption of DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the team.

Requirements

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
25 years of hands-on experience in backend software development with a focus on scalable systems.
Proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Java Python or Go.
Strong understanding of RESTful API design microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
Experience with database technologies including PostgreSQL MySQL MongoDB or similar.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker Kubernetes) and orchestration platforms.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Jenkins GitLab CI or Terraform.
Solid understanding of security best practices authentication/authorization mechanisms (e.g. OAuth JWT).
Excellent problem-solving skills attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
