The opportunity:

Join Hitachi Energys India Development Centre (IDC) an R&D organization in Chennai and Bangalore that works with global R&D and research centers across multiple countries.

In this role you will act as a bridge between business and technology teams ensuring successful delivery of digital solutions and product capabilities.

You will contribute to requirement analysis stakeholder alignment and data-driven decision-making across product teams.

How youll make an impact:

- Work as a Business Analyst across multiple products handling requirement gathering and analysis.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional and technical specifications.

- Actively participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) ensuring clarity and completeness of requirements.

- Support Agile teams by facilitating Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning backlog grooming and retrospectives.

- Perform data analysis and generate insights using reporting tools such as Power BI or similar platforms.

- Create and maintain dashboards reports and metrics to support decision-making.

- Work with cross-functional teams including development QA and DevOps for smooth delivery.

- Use Azure DevOps for backlog management user stories tracking and documentation.

- Facilitate effective communication across teams and ensure alignment among stakeholders.

- Continuously explore and learn domain knowledge related to power systems / power grids.

- Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

Your background:

- Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related discipline.

- Experience: 68 years of experience working as a Business Analyst across multiple products or platforms.

- Minimum 2 years of dedicated experience as a Business Analyst.

- Strong understanding of SDLC and experience working in Agile environments.

- Experience as a Scrum Master is an added advantage.

- Hands-on experience in data reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI or similar.

- Knowledge of Azure DevOps for requirement and backlog management.

- Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.

- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Interest in or experience with power domain / power grids is preferred.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
