The Senior Manager Quality Assurance will be responsible for leading and managing the Quality Management System (QMS) for a Defense and Aerospace manufacturing organization. The role involves ensuring compliance with AS9100D ISO 9001 DGAQA requirements customer-specific quality standards and statutory regulations. The incumbent will act as the Management Representative (MR) for AS9100D drive continuous improvement initiatives manage audits and ensure product quality throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.

• Act as the Management Representative (MR) for AS9100D and maintain the organizations Quality Management System.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100D ISO 9001 DGAQA requirements and customer quality standards.
• Develop implement review and improve quality policies procedures processes and work instructions.
• Conduct Management Review Meetings and monitor QMS effectiveness.
• Ensure proper control of documented information and records.

• Liaise with DGAQA authorities for inspections audits product clearances and quality approvals.
• Ensure compliance with DGAQA guidelines defense quality requirements and contractual obligations.
• Support qualification certification and acceptance activities for defense products.
• Coordinate quality-related interactions with defense customers and government agencies.

• Establish and monitor quality objectives KPIs and quality performance metrics.
• Ensure effective implementation of First Article Inspection (FAI) as per AS9102 requirements.
• Oversee incoming in-process and final inspection activities.
• Ensure product conformity traceability configuration management and product safety requirements.
• Lead NCR CAPA and deviation management processes.

• Plan and conduct Internal Quality Audits.
• Coordinate AS9100D certification audits surveillance audits and customer audits.
• Ensure closure of audit findings through effective corrective actions.
• Manage supplier audits and supplier quality performance monitoring.

• Lead Root Cause Analysis using 8D 5 Why Fishbone and other quality tools.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma Kaizen 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor process capability and quality trends to improve manufacturing performance.
• Reduce quality costs rework scrap and customer complaints.

• Lead and mentor QA Engineers Inspectors and Quality professionals.
• Conduct training programs on quality systems aerospace standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop competency matrices and succession plans for quality personnel.

• Address customer complaints and quality issues through structured corrective actions.
• Evaluate supplier quality systems and support supplier development programs.
• Ensure compliance with customer quality requirements and contract specifications.

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Production Engineering / Aerospace Engineering.
• Masters Degree preferred.
• Lead Auditor Certification in AS9100D/ISO 9001 preferred.
• Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification preferred.

• 1218 years of experience in Quality Assurance within Defense Aerospace Aviation Precision Manufacturing or High-Reliability Manufacturing industries.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership/managerial role.
• Proven experience working with DGAQA defense customers and regulatory agencies.
• Hands-on experience as Management Representative (MR) for AS9100D.
