Role Overview:
We are seeking a Process Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience in the oil & gas / petrochemical sector to support the design and execution of combustion and environmental systems particularly within the Flares and Incinerators division. The role involves process design technical evaluation and cross-functional coordination with global teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Review client specifications and develop techno-commercial process solutions.
Perform process calculations simulations and equipment sizing for flares incinerators and related systems.
Prepare and review Turnover Packages for project execution teams.
Evaluate sub-vendor technical offers and ensure compliance with project requirements.
Conduct process optimization combustion calculations and emissions analysis.
Support design reviews and release for fabrication.
Assist project and service teams in troubleshooting commissioning support and site activities.
Participate in client discussions and technical clarifications.
Execute engineering studies for revamps retrofits and new installations.
Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering within oil & gas petrochemical or refinery projects
Hands-on experience in:
Process design and simulation
Combustion systems / flare systems (preferred)
Equipment sizing and PFD/P&ID interpretation
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and safety practices
Key Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
Ability to balance technical accuracy with commercial considerations
Proficiency in process simulation tools (e.g. Aspen HYSYS or equivalent)
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
Self-driven with a strong focus on quality and delivery
