The Power BI Reporting Analyst will be responsible for delivery of Power BI dashboards and reports. Key responsibilities include: - Design and Develop Power BI reports dashboards and datasets - Build the Data Models in Power BI using the data from different sources - Optimize datasets and reports for performance and scalability - Ensure all the reports are adhering to the Governance standards defined within the Organisation
Core Technical Requirements
Essential Skills - Strong experience in designing and development of enterprise wide Reports and dashboards - Expert in Power BI including DAX Data Modelling and Datasets - Good knowledge of SQL and Datwarehousing concepts - Working knowledge of connecting Power BI with BigQuery on GCP. - Strong experience of Data Visaulaisation
Desirable Skills - Experience of working in Financial sector preferably in Asset Management domain - Experience working with other Reporting tools e..g. Looker
DevOps CI/CD & IaC: - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines Git-based workflows and DevOps principles for data workflows.
Security Data Governance & Operational Resilience: - Solid grounding in cloud security best practices and least privilege IAM.
Delivery Approach & Ways of Working
- Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks. - Use of JIRA and Confluence for delivery management and documentation. - Proven track record collaborating effectively in multi disciplinary teams across engineering product and analytics.
Specialisations
- Proven experience of working as a Reporting Analyst in Financial Services domain - Certifications in Power BI or other reporting tools - Experience with Dev Ops and CI/CD
