Job Summary

Job description for PHP Developer:

Develop and maintain core backend services for the Time Tracking Application using PHP (Laravel/Symfony).
Design and implement APIs that integrate with payroll HR and project management systems.
Optimize database queries and schema (MySQL/PostgreSQL) for high performance and scalability.
Collaborate with UX designers to ensure the application is intuitive and accessible for all users.
Implement secure authentication and role-based access controls to protect sensitive employee data.
Work closely with QA engineers to ensure robust test coverage and high-quality releases.
Participate in sprint planning code reviews and architecture discussions to shape the future of the platform.

Required Skills:

For T3: 35 years of professional experience in PHP development ideally with frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.
For T2: 5-8 years of professional experience in PHP development ideally with frameworks like Laravel or Symfony
Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration best practices.
Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL and database optimization techniques.
Familiarity with JavaScript ( for front-end integration is a plus.
Knowledge of secure coding practices and data privacy compliance (GDPR SOC 2).
A problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Excellent collaboration skills and a passion for building products that make a real difference.
