Network Security Engineer ZTNA

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer with expertise in Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and modern network security architectures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing implementing and managing secure access solutions while supporting large-scale network security initiatives. The role requires strong technical expertise project coordination capabilities and the ability to work across infrastructure security and application teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design implement and support Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions across enterprise environments.
• Develop and maintain secure network architectures aligned with Zero Trust principles.
• Participate in planning deployment migration and optimization of network security solutions.
• Collaborate with infrastructure cloud and security teams to ensure secure access to applications and services.
• Perform network security assessments gap analysis and remediation planning.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network security incidents and performance issues.
• Support large-scale infrastructure deployments and ensure security best practices are followed.
• Lead technical discussions with stakeholders and provide recommendations on security architecture improvements.
• Manage project deliverables timelines risks and dependencies for network security initiatives.
• Prepare technical documentation implementation guides and operational procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party partners during solution deployment and support activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of security policies standards and operational processes.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• 5 years of experience in Network Security Engineering Technical Project Management or Security Architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions.
• Solid understanding of:
  • Network Security Architecture
  • Zero Trust Security Frameworks
  • VPN Replacement Technologies
  • Secure Access Service Edge (SASE)
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • Network Segmentation and Micro-Segmentation
  • Firewalls IDS/IPS and Secure Gateways
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure deployments and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP Routing Switching DNS Load Balancing and Enterprise Networking.
• Experience in cloud security environments (AWS Azure GCP) is preferred.
• Familiarity with security monitoring and incident response processes.

Project & Leadership Skills

• Strong technical project management and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across security infrastructure and business teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in risk assessment mitigation planning and change management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Good to Have

• Experience integrating security operations with ServiceNow or other ITSM tools.
• Knowledge of SASE platforms such as:
  • Zscaler ZPA
  • Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access
  • Netskope
  • Cisco Secure Access
• Exposure to ITIL processes and service delivery models.
• Relevant security certifications.
