We are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer to join our team.

Behavioural Competencies :

Proven experience of delivering process efficiencies and improvements
Clear and fluent English (both verbal and written)
Ability to build and maintain efficient working relationships with remote teams
Demonstrate ability to take ownership of and accountability for relevant products and services
Ability to plan prioritise and complete your own work whilst remaining a team player
Willingness to engage with and work in other technologies

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Monitor troubleshoot and resolve application-related incidents.
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
Support production environments and ensure application availability.
Work closely with infrastructure development and business teams.
Manage application deployments patches and maintenance activities.
Analyze logs and system performance using monitoring tools.
Create and maintain support documentation and knowledge articles.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must-Have Skills
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience in application maintenance and production support
Good understanding of Linux administration and Shell Scripting
Basic programming/scripting knowledge
Understanding of infrastructure servers and networking concepts
Experience in incident management issue resolution and root cause analysis (RCA)
Ability to work in a support environment and handle critical production issues
Good-to-Have Skills
MSSQL Database administration and query writing
Experience with JBoss Application Server
Knowledge of Temenos T24 Core Banking System
Experience with FCM Suite
Microsoft System Center Orchestrator (MS Scorch)
Splunk monitoring and log analysis
ITIL processes and service management knowledge
Banking or Financial Services domain experience
